Road to São Paulo: BOOST Strengthens Zimbabwe’s Enactus Teams for the World Cup
BOOST is supporting Enactus teams from Midlands State University and Bindura University of Science Education as they prepare to represent Zimbabwe at the Enactus World Cup in São Paulo, Brazil. Through engagements with ZIDA, ZB Innovation Hub and American Corner Gweru, the teams are refining their pitches, strengthening business models and building confidence to present their innovations internationally, showcasing Zimbabwe’s youth-led entrepreneurship and innovation on the globe.
As Zimbabwe’s Enactus champions prepare to represent the country at the Enactus World Cup in São Paulo, Brazil, we are intensifying support for the Midlands State University (MSU) and Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE) teams through targeted pitch refinement, mentorship and investment-readiness engagements. Following their success at the Enactus Zimbabwe National Competition 2026, the teams are strengthening their business models, refining their presentations and preparing to communicate the impact and commercial potential of their innovations to an international audience.
The preparations have included a high-level pitching and investment readiness session hosted by the Zimbabwe Investment and Development Agency (ZIDA), an engagement at the ZB Innovation Hub with Team Enactus BUSE, and pitch refinement and question and answer sessions for Team Enactus MSU at the American Corner Gweru, supported by the U.S. Embassy Zimbabwe. These engagements are helping the teams strengthen their storytelling, respond confidently to challenging questions and demonstrate the sustainability and scalability of their solutions.
Through these partnerships, BOOST is supporting youth-led innovation and enterprise while helping Zimbabwe’s representatives prepare to showcase the country’s entrepreneurial talent on the global stage.
