Partnerships For Impact
The Ruwa Innovation Hub Zimbabwe recently welcomed a high-level delegation bringing together leadership from the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training, UNICEF Africa, UNICEF Zimbabwe, ZB Financial Holdings, and BOOST, reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing youth skills, innovation and employment pathways in Zimbabwe.
The visit highlighted the impact of this Public-Private-Youth Partnership, with delegates engaging directly with 72 adolescents and young people completing industry-relevant training in web development, cybersecurity, and project management. The delegation also interacted with participants in youth-friendly SRHR sessions delivered through local partners, demonstrating a holistic approach to youth empowerment that integrates skills, wellbeing, and opportunity.
To date, the Ruwa Innovation Hub has reached 1,188 adolescents and young people through integrated digital skills, life skills, and innovation programmes, contributing to national priorities on youth employment, digital inclusion, and sustainable livelihoods.
Through collaborative investment and technical partnership, the Hub continues to serve as a scalable model for empowering young people and strengthening pathways from learning to earning.
